How It Works

1. Getting Started – hook up the regulator to your propane tank and get the 3 metre hose system all connected with those quick-release fittings - it's a piece of cake

2. Get Your Torque On – light the torch Hold it 10-40cm from the material and just move the flame back and forth in a steady motion till the thermoplastic hits around 220°C - that's when you'll start to get it bubbling and flowing slightly at the edges.

3. See The Way It Works – now just watch and see it all stick in place nice and permanently on tarmac or concrete. You can toss some glass beads on top to get some visibility before it cools and within 5-10 minutes it's good to go for traffic.

Note: we also use these torches for surface prep, like drying and pre-heating the ground before we apply anything so it sticks right - especially in cold or damp conditions where adhesion tends to be a problem
