Women’s Hi Vis Workwear Designed Around Fit and Movement

The right fit helps workwear stay comfortable when bending, reaching or moving between tasks. Trousers are available with waist and leg length options, while the jackets use features such as adjustable cuffs, waist cords and shaped hems to control how the garment sits over other layers.

The range covers lightweight polos and softshells alongside storm coats, padded jackets and waterproof outerwear. This allows the upper and lower layers to be selected for the conditions without returning to a general unisex fit.

Women’s Hi Vis Jackets, Trousers and Polo Shirts

The Pulsar Protect storm coats provide longer coverage with adjustable cuffs, underarm ventilation and a detachable lined hood. For lighter protection, the women’s softshell is windproof and uses a waist cord and cuff adjusters to control the fit.

Colder conditions are covered by reversible puffer jackets and the insulated parka. The parka combines a waterproof two layer fabric with Thermolite EcoMade insulation and a detachable helmet compatible hood. For wet weather without the insulated lining, the women’s orange shell jacket uses a waterproof three layer fabric and zipped ventilation.

The standard women’s combat trousers have reinforced seams, knee pad pockets, lower combat pockets and space for both a standard and utility belt. The Pulsar Life stretch combat trousers add four way stretch, a tapered leg and reinforced knee and hem panels.

Short and long sleeved women’s polo shirts use flexible reflective tape, moisture-wicking fabric, underarm mesh ventilation and an extended back. Selected Pulsar Protect women’s garments also support the Pink Ribbon Foundation, with Pulsar donating a percentage from each sale.

How to Choose Women’s Hi Vis Clothing

For the upper body, choose a polo shirt for warmer conditions, a softshell for flexible wind protection or a waterproof shell for regular rain exposure. Puffer jackets and insulated parkas provide more warmth while storm coats give longer coverage and room for layers.

Choose standard combat trousers where reinforced construction and practical storage are the priorities. The stretch versions are better suited to work involving frequent kneeling, climbing or bending. Check both the waist and leg length, and make sure any knee-pad pockets align correctly when the knees are bent.

FAQ

How is women’s hi vis workwear different from unisex workwear?

Women’s garments use sizing and proportions intended for a women’s fit. Depending on the product, this can include shaped outerwear, adjustable waists, tapered legs and a choice of leg lengths.

Are all the women’s hi vis jackets waterproof?

No. Softshells provide wind protection and some styles have a water-repellent finish, but that is not the same as a waterproof jacket. Choose the waterproof shell or insulated parka when full rain protection is required.

Which women’s trousers are best for kneeling work?

Both combat trouser styles include knee-pad pockets. The Pulsar Life trousers also have reinforced knee panels and four-way stretch, which can help with frequent bending and kneeling. Knee pads are not included.

Should I choose a short- or long-sleeved hi vis polo?

Choose short sleeves for warmer conditions or active indoor work. Long sleeves provide more arm coverage in cooler conditions, while retaining the same moisture-wicking treatment and underarm ventilation.
