Men’s Thermal Clothing
Our men’s thermal clothing provides a close fitting base layer for work in freezing and low temperature conditions. Short and long sleeved tops cover different levels of upper body insulation while full length pants add warmth beneath work trousers. The thermals come in navy or white and use a soft polyester and VILOFT blend finished with flatlocked seams for comfort beneath other layers.

A base layer sits next to the skin trapping warmth while moving moisture away during physical work. This helps reduce the damp feeling that can develop when a shift alternates between periods of activity and standing still.
The close fitting construction allows the tops and pants to sit smoothly beneath shirts, trousers, fleeces and outerwear. Thermals provide the first insulating layer but still need to be combined with suitable clothing for wind, rain or workplace visibility.

Short and Long Sleeved Men’s Thermals
The short sleeved Pulsar Blizzard top insulates the torso while leaving the lower arms under fewer layers. It suits active work where a long sleeved base layer would feel too warm.
The long sleeved version extends the same polyester and VILOFT fabric to the wrists providing more coverage for outdoor work and colder conditions. Both sleeve lengths are available in navy and white with the same close fit, wicking performance and flatlocked seams.
Choosing Thermal Wear for Men
Start with the amount of coverage the job requires. Choose a short sleeved top for active work or changing indoor and outdoor temperatures and a long sleeved top where the arms will remain exposed to prolonged cold. Add thermal pants when unlined work trousers do not provide enough lower body insulation.
The fit should be close enough to prevent fabric gathering beneath workwear without restricting bending, lifting or walking.
FAQs
What are men’s thermals made from?
The Pulsar Blizzard thermals use a soft polyester and VILOFT blend with thermal and moisture wicking properties.
Should men’s thermals be worn next to the skin?
Yes. They are designed as a close fitting first layer so the fabric can retain warmth and move moisture away from the body.
Should I choose a short or long sleeved thermal top?
Choose short sleeves for active work, indoor conditions or lighter layering and a long sleeved top for colder or more exposed work.
Can thermal pants be worn under work trousers?
Yes. Their close fit allows them to add warmth beneath regular work trousers, waterproof overtrousers or other workwear without excessive bulk.
Do men’s thermals replace a jacket?
No. Thermals provide base-layer insulation but do not protect against rain or wind.
