Combat trousers provide storage, belt loops and kneepad pockets for practical site work. The Pulsar Protect styles use reinforced stitching, a partially elasticated waist and a Teflon treatment that resists dirt and grease while repelling water during light showers.
Overtrousers feature elasticated waists and lower leg zips which make them easier to wear over work trousers and safety boots while waterproof fabrics and sealed fastenings provide the protection needed for prolonged rain.

Waterproof High Visibility Trousers
The Pulsar Protect waterproof overtrousers use gusseted hems with waterproof zips, a drawcord waist and access openings for pockets underneath. Pulsar Life versions add a waterproof three layer laminate, reinforced CORDURA panels and zipped cargo storage.
Pulsar Evolution overtrousers use concealed boot zips, RFX reflective tape and segmented thigh bands. Their car safe construction also suits automotive work where exposed metal components could mark a vehicle.
FAQs
Are all hi vis trousers waterproof?
No. Combat and stretch trousers may repel light rain but they are not the same as waterproof overtrousers.
What is the difference between combat trousers and overtrousers?
Combat trousers are worn as the main work layer and include storage pockets, belt loops and kneepad compartments while overtrousers fit over normal work clothing.
Are knee pads included with the combat trousers?
No. Selected combat and stretch trousers have kneepad pockets but the knee pads must be purchased separately.
When are ARC high visibility trousers required?
ARC trousers are required where an electrical risk assessment identifies exposure to arc flash or related heat and flame hazards.
