Give way Sign Road Markings
Delivery options and charges are confirmed at checkout.
Enter your delivery address at checkout to see the services, charges and estimated delivery time available for your basket before paying. Charges depend on the products, order value, weight and destination. Any applicable tax and delivery charge are shown before payment.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays, unless your selected service states otherwise. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed appointments. Products sent from different locations may arrive separately.
Thermoplastic road and playground markings
Delivery depends on the marking, quantity and destination. Economy delivery is offered for eligible products; faster services are available only where shown at checkout. Custom-made designs and larger orders may require a longer lead time.
Check the delivery estimate for your selected service before ordering. If you need markings for a scheduled installation, contact us to confirm availability and the expected delivery date first.
Safety signs, sign fixings and mounting accessories
Standard delivery is available for eligible UK addresses. The charge and any free-delivery offer are shown at checkout for your particular items and order value. Custom-made signs, large frames and mounting equipment may have different dispatch or delivery times.
Only rely on an express or next-working-day service when that service is offered for your basket at checkout. Contact us before ordering if you need a sign for a particular date.
Logs, firewood, kindling and solid fuel
Small boxed orders travel by parcel service; crates, pallets and large consignments require a pallet delivery. Available delivery times and postcode charges are shown at checkout.
Pallet delivery is kerbside, to the nearest safe accessible point. A pallet truck needs a level, firm surface and cannot move over gravel, grass or steps. Tell us about restricted access, narrow roads or steep driveways before ordering.
A preferred delivery date is a request unless expressly confirmed. If access restrictions or incorrect address details prevent delivery, we will discuss any reasonable redelivery or return cost with you before arranging it.
Other products
Order before 2pm on weekdays for next-working-day delivery on most eligible items. Orders placed after 2pm or at weekends are dispatched the next working day. Some products have an earlier cut-off or a longer delivery time; the service shown at checkout applies to your order.
Delivery problems and help
Please check your delivery address and contact details before payment. If an order is late, missing or arrives damaged, contact Ready Set Supplied promptly so we can investigate and arrange the appropriate remedy. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Ready Set Supplied — returns and refunds
Thermoplastic road and playground markings
For standard markings, tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after delivery, then send the goods back within the following 14 days. Keep them unused and protect them from damage; reuse the original packaging where possible.
You pay the direct return carriage for a change-of-mind return. Contact us for the correct return address or a collection quote. We will agree any collection charge with you before arranging it.
Markings made to your individual specifications or personalised designs are excluded from change-of-mind returns. This does not exclude claims for faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.
Safety signs, sign fixings and mounting accessories
Request a change-of-mind return within 30 days after delivery. Send the goods back within 14 days of your request. You pay return carriage.
For our extended return period after the statutory cancellation window, goods must be unused, complete and in their original packaging. Custom-made or personalised signs are excluded from change-of-mind returns.
Please report delivery damage promptly, ideally within 48 hours, with photographs if possible. The 48-hour request does not limit your legal rights. Faulty or incorrectly supplied goods are dealt with under the consumer rights section below.
Logs, firewood, kindling and solid fuel
Tell us you wish to cancel within 14 days after delivery, then return the goods within the following 14 days. Keep fuel dry, unused and securely packaged. Burning or using fuel goes beyond inspection and may reduce its refundable value, potentially to zero for the quantity used.
For change-of-mind collections, standard-area pallet returns cost £55 and boxed returns cost £8 per box. For postcodes subject to a delivery surcharge, contact us before ordering for a return-carriage quote based on the original delivery charge. We will not charge an undisclosed collection cost.
No separate restocking fee applies to consumers exercising their statutory cancellation rights. If goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we cover the reasonable return or collection cost.
Other products
For products outside the ranges above, our existing 30-day return offer continues. Return goods in the condition received, new or only slightly used, with their original packaging and proof of purchase. Contact us for a prepaid return label and instructions.
For an exchange, arrange a return and place a new order for the replacement item.
Consumer cancellation rights and refunds
Consumers buying standard goods online can notify us of cancellation within 14 days after receipt and then have another 14 days to return them. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. Opening packaging alone does not remove this right. Any deduction for excessive handling must reflect the actual reduction in value; there is no automatic restocking charge.
For a statutory cancellation of the whole order, we refund the standard outward delivery cost. Any extra paid for an upgraded service is not refundable. Refunds go to the original payment method without a refund fee.
We aim to refund within 6 working days. For statutory cancellations, the deadline is 14 days after we receive the goods or evidence of return, whichever is earlier; if we have offered to collect them, it is 14 days after cancellation.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Your rights to a refund, repair or replacement for goods that are faulty, misdescribed or unfit for purpose are unaffected by the change-of-mind periods or custom-made exclusions. Contact us so we can arrange an appropriate remedy and cover reasonable return costs.
Contact and return instructions
Email sales@readysetsupplied.co.uk or call 01539 324056, quoting your order number and the items concerned. We will confirm the correct return address and packing instructions. A statutory cancellation does not depend on our approval.
Contact address: Ready Set Supplied, 121–123 Duke Street, Barrow-in-Furness, LA14 1XA, United Kingdom. Please contact us before posting goods, as the return destination may differ. Store drop-off returns are not available.

Give Way Triangle Road Marking
Essential traffic control marking that clearly indicates priority rules and enhances junction safety
The Give Way Triangle Road Marking gives drivers an immediate, visible warning that they must slow down, prepare to stop, and give way to traffic before entering a major road, mini roundabout, or priority junction.
Made for clear traffic flow, road safety, and UK road markings compliance, this high-visibility white thermoplastic triangle supports the Highway Code, reduces confusion at a junction ahead, and helps road users choose the correct lane before reaching the stop line, broken white lines, or double broken lines.
The ‘Give Way’ marking is represented by a triangle pointing towards the vehicle, indicating that drivers should slow down and prepare to stop to let other road users pass. Vehicles on the main road you are joining or crossing have absolute priority. Pedestrians who have started to cross must be given priority according to Highway Code Rule 170.

Why You’ll Love It
-
Highway Code Compliant – Designed for UK traffic regulation standards where drivers must give way to traffic at junctions, mini roundabouts, and priority intersections.
-
Enhanced Visibility – High-contrast white thermoplastic stands out against the road surface, helping drivers see the line ahead in poor weather, at night, and near traffic lights or traffic signals.
-
Durable Performance – Premium thermoplastic offers better wear resistance than traditional paint, especially where stationary vehicles, braking, and traffic turning place stress on road markings.
-
Quick Installation – Gas torch application bonds the triangle to asphalt or concrete quickly, helping reduce road closure time and disruption to traffic lanes.
-
Cost-Effective Safety – A clear give way marking helps prevent accidents, supports police control when needed, and reduces liability by making priority rules obvious.
White, double broken lines indicate that drivers must give way to traffic on major roads, and they are commonly found at mini roundabouts and junctions with major roads. At roundabouts, drivers must give way to traffic from the right, which is indicated by broken white lines at larger roundabouts and a thicker broken line at mini roundabouts.

What Makes It Different
Most road markings fade quickly, lose their straight line edges, or lack the precision needed for professional traffic control. This product is built for long-term visibility, accurate placement, and dependable performance in real road conditions.
-
Precision Cut Design – Factory-cut triangular form gives a clean, consistent triangle pointing toward approaching drivers for a professional finish.
-
Premium Thermoplastic Material – Bonds strongly to the prepared surface and lasts longer than traditional paint, reducing repeat maintenance.
-
Reflective Properties – Reflective glass bead performance improves visibility for oncoming traffic, other vehicles, and road users pass-through areas in wet or low-light conditions.
This marking also works clearly alongside other UK road markings, including edge lines, centre line markings, hazard warning line layouts, double white lines, white diagonal stripes, white bay markings, white parking bays, bus stop markings, cycle lane markings, yellow lines, single yellow lines, double yellow lines, kerb markings, single yellow kerb lines, double yellow kerb lines, yellow boxes, box junction markings, criss crossing yellow lines, and yellow boxes filled areas.
How It Works
-
Surface Preparation
Clean and dry the road surface before application. Remove dust, oil, loose aggregate, and moisture so the thermoplastic can bond properly at the junction approach point. -
Heat Application
Position the marking with the triangle pointing toward approaching vehicles, then heat with a gas torch until the thermoplastic melts and bonds to the surface. -
Traffic Control
Once cooled, the marking gives drivers a clear instruction to slow down, prepare to stop, and give way to traffic on the major road or traffic from the right.
Edge lines are white and appear on the left-hand side of the road, marking the edge of the carriageway and helping drivers maintain a safe lateral position. Centre lines are white and broken, separating opposing flows of traffic, and can vary in length and gap size depending on the speed limit. Hazard warning lines are similar to centre lines but feature longer painted sections and shorter broken gaps, warning drivers of non-obvious hazards such as approaching junctions.

Double white lines can appear in several configurations, where the nearest line is broken, solid, or both solid, indicating different rules for overtaking and stopping. White diagonal stripes are used to separate lanes or protect traffic turning right, and drivers should not enter these areas unless it is safe to do so.
This marking is suitable where visibility must remain clear near a bus lane, bus lane lanes, bus lane lanes reserved for public transport, advanced stop line areas, clear yellow zig zags, outside shop parades, and areas with waiting restrictions. For yellow lines, waiting rules, seasonal restrictions, bank holidays, and double yellow kerb lines, always check nearby signs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where should give way triangles be positioned?
Give way triangles should be positioned on the approach to a junction, mini roundabout, or priority intersection, before the give way line or double broken lines, so drivers receive clear warning before joining the major road.
How long do thermoplastic triangles last?
Thermoplastic give way road markings usually last far longer than traditional paint. Lifespan depends on traffic volume, weather, surface preparation, heavy braking, and whether the area carries frequent turning traffic or stationary vehicles.
Are these markings legally compliant?
Yes. The Highway Code states that drivers must give way where required by signs and road markings. When correctly installed with the correct line layout, the marking supports UK road markings standards for priority control.
