Delivery depends on the marking, quantity and destination. Economy delivery is offered for eligible products; faster services are available only where shown at checkout. Custom-made designs and larger orders may require a longer lead time.
Check the delivery estimate for your selected service before ordering. If you need markings for a scheduled installation, contact us to confirm availability and the expected delivery date first.
Safety signs, sign fixings and mounting accessories
Standard delivery is available for eligible UK addresses. The charge and any free-delivery offer are shown at checkout for your particular items and order value. Custom-made signs, large frames and mounting equipment may have different dispatch or delivery times.
Only rely on an express or next-working-day service when that service is offered for your basket at checkout. Contact us before ordering if you need a sign for a particular date.
Logs, firewood, kindling and solid fuel
Small boxed orders travel by parcel service; crates, pallets and large consignments require a pallet delivery. Available delivery times and postcode charges are shown at checkout.
Pallet delivery is kerbside, to the nearest safe accessible point. A pallet truck needs a level, firm surface and cannot move over gravel, grass or steps. Tell us about restricted access, narrow roads or steep driveways before ordering.
A preferred delivery date is a request unless expressly confirmed. If access restrictions or incorrect address details prevent delivery, we will discuss any reasonable redelivery or return cost with you before arranging it.
Other products
Order before 2pm on weekdays for next-working-day delivery on most eligible items. Orders placed after 2pm or at weekends are dispatched the next working day. Some products have an earlier cut-off or a longer delivery time; the service shown at checkout applies to your order.

Consumer cancellation rights and refunds
Consumers buying standard goods online can notify us of cancellation within 14 days after receipt and then have another 14 days to return them. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. Opening packaging alone does not remove this right. Any deduction for excessive handling must reflect the actual reduction in value; there is no automatic restocking charge.
For a statutory cancellation of the whole order, we refund the standard outward delivery cost. Any extra paid for an upgraded service is not refundable. Refunds go to the original payment method without a refund fee.
We aim to refund within 6 working days. For statutory cancellations, the deadline is 14 days after we receive the goods or evidence of return, whichever is earlier; if we have offered to collect them, it is 14 days after cancellation.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Your rights to a refund, repair or replacement for goods that are faulty, misdescribed or unfit for purpose are unaffected by the change-of-mind periods or custom-made exclusions. Contact us so we can arrange an appropriate remedy and cover reasonable return costs.

Triangular Sign 562 Thermoplastic Warning Sign - Danger Ahead Road Marking
Professional Preformed Thermoplastic Warning Marking for Enhanced Road Safety
The triangular sign 562 thermoplastic warning sign is a preformed danger ahead road marking designed to give drivers, motorists, pedestrians, and other road users a clear hazard warning directly on the road surface. It is ideal where a durable road warning symbol is needed in advance of a bend, bridge, crossing, exit, route change, steep hills, level crossing, restricted access area, or other site-specific danger.
This preformed thermoplastic warning marking is made for high-impact horizontal signage on road surfaces and pathways, giving superior visibility in traffic areas where standard paint can fade quickly and pairs well with thermoplastic road line markings and symbols for comprehensive layouts.
Key Product Features
-
Preformed thermoplastic construction – Preformed thermoplastics are designed for ease of application and superior performance in road markings, providing a durable and highly visible marking.
-
High-visibility triangular warning shape – The red, white, and black danger symbol appearance helps road users recognise risk quickly, even near traffic signals, roundabouts, dual carriageway lanes, or oncoming traffic.
-
Reflective finish – Thermoplastic materials are designed to provide superior visibility due to bright colours and retro-reflective beads, ensuring maximum visibility for road users both day and night.
-
Strong surface bond – They consist of a mix of synthetic plastic resins, pigments, and glass beads that fuse directly to asphalt or concrete surfaces under extreme heat.
-
Fast torch-on installation – Thermoplastic road markings can be quickly applied using a propane torch or gas blowtorch, allowing for fast installation and minimizing downtime.
-
Built for demanding sites – Thermoplastic materials are designed to withstand heavy traffic and harsh weather conditions, maintaining their integrity and appearance over time.
What Makes Thermoplastic Different
Traditional road paint sits as a thin line on the ground and often loses visibility as traffic, rain, UV light, sand, stone, oil, and winter treatments wear it away. This danger ahead thermoplastic sign bonds into the surface when heated, creating a thicker, tougher marking with better resistance.
Ground-fused thermoplastic compounds maintain dense, vibrant safety pigmentation much longer than standard paints. Thermoplastic warning signs and road markings provide an exceptionally durable, high-visibility, and long-lasting safety solution compared to traditional paints, and thermoplastic warning signs can last up to 10 times longer than standard traffic paint.
The non-toxic composition of thermoplastic materials lacks harmful solvents, minimizing environmental impact, while some formulations include eco-friendly materials and bio-based resins that contribute to longevity and performance.
Installation Process
-
Prepare the surface
Clean the asphalt, tarmac, or compatible concrete surface. Remove loose materials, moisture, oil, grease, old failed markings, and debris before positioning the preform. -
Position the marking
Lay the thermoplastic road symbol in the required location, making sure the triangular shape is aligned correctly for approaching vehicles and visible at the right distance. -
Apply heat
Use a propane torch or gas blowtorch to heat the marking evenly. The thermoplastic bonding process activates as the material softens and fuses directly to the surface. -
Allow to cool
Preformed thermoplastic markings are designed for easy installation and can be traffic-ready within minutes after application. Once positioned correctly, typical installation takes only a few minutes. -

Why Thermoplastic Lasts Longer Than Paint
The thick layer of thermoplastic materials creates sound and vibration when driven over, alerting distracted drivers and adding a practical safety cue. Its durability comes from the compound used and its exposure to environmental stressors, so correct installation and site selection matter.
Thermoplastic materials offer weather and chemical resistance, preventing fading from UV rays, snow, heavy rain, and oil spills. The use of colored road studs, such as white for traffic lanes and red for the left-hand side of the carriageway, can further enhance visibility for drivers, especially at night or in poor weather conditions.
For high-traffic areas, thermoplastic traffic markings and preformed thermoplastic line marking tape are a cost effective solution because they reduce repainting, closures, and maintenance visits.
