Sanding pads for corners and detailed preparation

Two clearly separated pad shapes

The range includes compact 93 × 93mm delta pads and longer 100 × 140mm detail sanding pads. Both are designed for compatible machines, but their different outlines mean they should be selected by your sander's actual backing pad rather than by the word detail alone. Compare the shape as well as both dimensions before choosing a pack.

Four grades in five-pad packs

Choose 40, 60, 80 or 120 grit. Each pack contains five pads of one selected grade, so you can replenish the grit you use most without buying an unwanted assortment. Keep the grade visible when organising supplies for several preparation stages. The lower numbered options give a coarser abrasive than the higher numbered options.

Hook and loop fixing with anti-clogging treatment

The hook and loop backing allows pads to be removed and replaced on a compatible sander. Aluminium oxide abrasive is supported by durable D-weight backing paper with good tear resistance. A dry lubricant treatment helps resist clogging, supporting effective contact between the abrasive and the surface being prepared.

Match the abrasive to the task

For work near edges or in corners, choose a pad that follows the outline of your machine so the abrasive is properly supported. An oversized or mismatched pad can leave parts unsupported, while an undersized pad can expose the backing plate. Check any extraction openings as well as the outline. The product images and size options help distinguish the two formats before you order.

Choosing the right grit and quantity

Check the surface condition, the finish you want and the equipment you will use before selecting an abrasive. A lower grit number is coarser than a higher number. Avoid choosing solely by the pack colour: read the grade and the product specification. For a job with several stages, keep the grades separate so the correct abrasive is easy to identify as work progresses.

Order by the quantity stated on the individual listing. A pack contains the selected product option; it does not include a sander, sanding block or other equipment shown for illustration. Check the size and pack count together when planning supplies for several people or repeat jobs, and retain the product code so you can reorder the same option accurately.

Prepare and check your work

Follow the instructions for your machine and the material being prepared. Confirm the abrasive is properly supported and attached before use, and inspect it as work progresses. Replace a damaged or worn abrasive rather than relying on extra pressure to restore its cut. Remove sanding residue as appropriate before moving to the next preparation or finishing stage, so remaining particles do not affect the result.
