Window Protection Film
Window protection film from Ready Set Supplied helps shield glass and mirrors from dust and paint during building work, decorating and shop refits. ProSolve’s blue-tinted self-adhesive film comes in 600mm widths with 25m, 50m and 100m roll lengths.
Temporary glass protection during work
Blue tint for recognition
The blue tint makes covered glass easier to recognise. This is temporary protective film for building and decorating tasks, with windows and mirrors among the supplier’s stated applications. It is not presented as a permanent window treatment, privacy product or decorative finish.
Three lengths with one width
Choose between 25m, 50m and 100m rolls, each 600mm wide and described by ProSolve as 60 micron thick. The different lengths allow you to compare the quantity of film required for the glass areas involved. The product page lists the actual options and their individual supplier codes.
Self-adhesive, waterproof film
The polyethylene film adheres directly to suitable glass surfaces and is lightweight and waterproof. ProSolve also specifies high tear and puncture resistance. These features support its use as temporary protection while building, painting and decorating work takes place around windows or mirrors.
Leave in place for up to four weeks
The supplier states that this window film can remain in place for up to four weeks, leaving no glue or residue when removed. Keep that period distinct from the requirements of other protective films used on the same job. The instructions for a carpet protector, for example, do not establish how a window protector should be used.
Choose by surface and task
Start by identifying the glass or mirror surfaces that need temporary coverage. The supplier describes protection from dust and paint during building work, decorating and shop refits. Where the same project includes hard flooring or worktops, use the separately described film intended for those surfaces rather than treating all self-adhesive rolls as interchangeable.
Pack and roll information
Each selected option supplies one roll, with four rolls listed as the supplier’s carton quantity. The 25m, 50m and 100m lengths share the same width but have distinct product references. Check your selected length before adding it to the basket, especially when ordering several different protective films together.
Compare protection for the rest of the job
If the work includes other surfaces or needs a different roll format, compare hard floor protection film and multi surface protector film. Each listing explains its intended surface, actual dimensions and available options. Keep those differences in mind when selecting products for a job involving several materials.
Check the individual product page for the selected roll and its supplier reference before ordering. Width, length, winding format and surface suitability are separate decisions: a matching dimension alone does not make two films equivalent. Use the product descriptions to compare what each film is intended to protect and how its application differs.
Plan coverage from the roll dimensions
A 600mm by 100m roll contains 60 square metres of film before cutting or overlap. Use the actual dimensions of the selected roll when planning coverage, and allow for the shape of the area and the way the film will be laid.
