Sandpaper sheets selected by size, grit and fixing

Glasspaper in single or assorted grades

The 280 × 230mm glasspaper range offers 40, 60, 80 and 120 grit in packs of 10 or 25. An assorted ten-sheet pack contains two coarse, four medium and four fine sheets. Choose individual grades for repeated tasks, or the assortment when you need several grades together for different preparation stages.

Two orbital sheet attachment methods

The 93 × 230mm orbital sheets come in hook and loop or clamp formats for compatible one-third sheet sanders. Hook and loop packs contain five sheets; clamp packs contain ten. Select the fixing your machine uses, and check the punched-hole arrangement against its backing pad before ordering. The attachment methods are not interchangeable.

Backing matched to the product format

Single-grade glasspaper uses quartz abrasive on flexible C-weight paper. Hook and loop orbital sheets use aluminium oxide on D-weight paper, while clamp sheets use dyed white aluminium oxide on C-weight paper with a resin bond. These differences help distinguish the product families when choosing consumables for hand work or a particular sander.

Match the abrasive to the task

Full-size glasspaper can be used as a sheet or cut for smaller areas, making it useful for preparation on wood and plastics. The orbital formats are pre-sized for compatible machines. Keep the selected grit consistent during a preparation stage, then move to a finer grade as required by the finish. Check the pack quantity as well as the price when comparing products, because this category includes several different quantities.

Choosing the right grit and quantity

Check the surface condition, the finish you want and the equipment you will use before selecting an abrasive. A lower grit number is coarser than a higher number. Avoid choosing solely by the pack colour: read the grade and the product specification. For a job with several stages, keep the grades separate so the correct abrasive is easy to identify as work progresses.

Order by the quantity stated on the individual listing. A pack contains the selected product option; it does not include a sander, sanding block or other equipment shown for illustration. Check the size and pack count together when planning supplies for several people or repeat jobs, and retain the product code so you can reorder the same option accurately.

Prepare and check your work

Follow the instructions for your machine and the material being prepared. Confirm the abrasive is properly supported and attached before use, and inspect it as work progresses. Replace a damaged or worn abrasive rather than relying on extra pressure to restore its cut. Remove sanding residue as appropriate before moving to the next preparation or finishing stage, so remaining particles do not affect the result.
