Marking supplies organised by application
Metal markers and refillable bottles
Metal marking options include individual Super Metal Marker pens, valve action paint markers in packs of 12, and 50ml bottles with brass heads. The bottle range offers white, yellow and black, while the paint pen ranges offer white and yellow. One-litre ink refills, empty bottles and replacement brass heads are listed separately for compatible setups.
Crayons for road and cold surface marking
Hard road crayons are supplied in boxes of 12 of one colour, with yellow, white and blue options. Their heavy-duty wax produces waterproof, semi-permanent marks on asphalt, concrete and stone. Cold surface markers use solidified paint in a crayon-style format and are sold individually in white or yellow for a wider range of surface conditions.
Chalk for non-permanent marking tasks
The chalk range includes square French chalk sticks and cylindrical white rail chalk. French chalk, also known as soapstone or welder's chalk, leaves a wax-like mark on metal, steel, masonry and stone. Rail chalk is a hard-wearing option for steel, roads and masonry where a permanent mark is not needed. Both are supplied individually.
Choose by surface and working conditions
The material being marked is the first consideration. Clean metal, rusty steel, a wet workpiece and a stone pavement can require different marking products. The individual descriptions state suitable surfaces and conditions, so compare those details before choosing a pen, bottle, crayon or chalk stick. Some paint markers also suit materials such as plastic, glass or ceramic, but this does not apply automatically to every product in the collection.
For cold surface paint markers, the stated marking temperature range is -10°C to +65°C. Follow the label instructions and allow the paint to dry overnight for best results. A marking temperature range describes that product's use and should not be treated as a specification for unrelated crayons or pens. Each formulation has its own handling and application requirements.
Check colour, quantity and included parts
Product photographs may illustrate a broader range or an outer carton. Use the selected colour and the supplied quantity in the description to confirm the order. A filled marker bottle includes its stated marking head; an empty bottle contains no ink. Refill tins and replacement parts are separate products, so check the components you already have before ordering another part.
Timber crayon availability
The supplier's Timber Crayons category currently contains no individual product listings. Its dedicated collection is included in the navigation, with this availability made clear. Other marking products should be selected by their own stated suitability rather than assumed suitable for timber. Test the chosen product on a small appropriate area when appearance, contrast or later removal matters to the job.
