Crayons and paint sticks for outdoor marking

Hard road crayons in three colours

The hard road crayon range is available in yellow, white and blue. Each box contains 12 crayons in the selected colour. The heavy-duty wax is hard wearing and waterproof, producing semi-permanent marks on asphalt, concrete, stone pavements and road surfaces. ProSolve describes the formulation as non-toxic.

Cold surface markers in white or yellow

Cold surface markers combine paint in solid stick form with the convenience of crayon-style application. They can mark rough, smooth, wet, dry, icy, rusty and oily surfaces. The stated marking temperature range is -10°C to +65°C. These markers are sold individually in the selected white or yellow colour.

Quantities and drying instructions made clear

The road crayons are boxed in twelves, while cold surface markers are individual sticks. Range photographs can show other colours or outer packaging, so use the colour selector and supplied quantity to confirm your order. For the cold surface paint marker, remove the skin from the tip before use and allow the paint to dry overnight for best results.

Choose contrast and surface suitability

Select a colour that is easy to distinguish against the material being marked. The surface condition matters as well: a wax road crayon and a solid paint marker have different formulations and should be chosen for the task described in their product information. These products are for marking tasks; the category does not specify them as a replacement for a road line marking system or a permanent traffic marking specification.

Check the supplied quantity and colour

Use the individual product title, option selector and specification table to confirm what you are buying. A photograph can illustrate an outer carton or several colours without meaning that all pictured items are included. Check the stated quantity alongside the price when planning supplies for a team, repeated jobs or several work areas.

Keep the product code with your purchasing records so the same format can be selected again. Where colours are offered, choose the colour shown in the selector. Similar-looking products may differ in their formulation, application method or intended surface, so compare the description rather than relying only on the photograph.

Plan the marking task

Decide whether the mark needs to last through handling, remain outdoors or be removed after the work. Follow the instructions for the selected product and the material you are marking. A visible mark on one surface does not guarantee the same appearance or removal behaviour on another. Test suitability where needed before marking the whole workpiece.

For refillable products, check component compatibility and the contents supplied before fitting a replacement part or adding ink. Store and handle each product according to its label. The product page provides the relevant format and application information so you can choose a marking supply that fits the task.
