Why You’ll Love It
-
Zero Material Waste - Every single one of our strips is a dead on 1m long, which makes them perfect for doing individual bays, junctions and shorter edge lines without having any excess material hanging around from a bigger roll
-
Fast installation – We're talking minutes here – just melt them on with a gas torch and your done, Within 5 to 10 minutes the markings are traffic-ready, helping minimise disruption on busy sites.
-
Super durability – our thermoplastic lines out last traditional paint by a long shot – they are resistant to everything: weather, wear and tear, heavy traffic, and loads of other stuff.
-
High visibility - both night and day - lots of our pre-made strips have reflective glass beads mixed in with them, so they will be visible to drivers at night, plus we can add some extra gritty fillers to give them anti-skid properties
-
Cost effective all round – These strips give you precise control over the size, so you are less likely to make a mistake on site and the whole job gets done that much faster.

What Makes It Different
most thermoplastic road markings are pretty large - they come in 5m rolls, or even bigger, which is a real problem if you only need a short bit for a car park or pedestrian walkway.
1m Thermoplastic Lines have been given a bit of thought - they apparently don't come in the same rolls as the bigger ones:
-
1m Lengths not 5m - that means you don't have to spend ages trying to cut a big roll down to size - and all the waste that comes with it on smaller projects.
-
Just the right size - these are the perfect length for little jobs like parking bays, or where a longer roll would be a real hassle - pedestrian crossings, cycle lanes, And give way junctions.
-
Easy as can be when you're working on site - the compact strips are loads easier to transport, store flat on the back of a van and handle - compared to wrestling with a big cumbersome roll
How It Works
-
Get the road ready, before you even think about applying thermoplastic markings - just sweep the road clear of any debris. If you're working on concrete or asphalt that's past its best, you might want to apply primer just to make sure the strip sticks
-
Get it hot and apply it - use a propane torch or thermoplastic gas torch to heat it up - that way, it melts all over the road surface and sticks like glue - around 180-200 degrees is what the experts say works best.
-
Job done in no time - within 5 to 10 minutes it's all cooled down, and you've got a nice bright line that's ready for traffic to start rolling - and it'll stay looking that way for a long time
Product Details
-
Material : Hot melt pre-formed thermoplastic - think of it as a plastic that's been melted down, shaped around some glass beads and then coloured
-
Length : We supply 1m long strips of this type, cut to precision so they fit together perfectly
-
Widths We Do : We make it in a few different widths - 50mm, 100mm, - pretty standard sizes but the one you go for will depend on what you're using them for
-
Colours : Available in industry standard colours including white and yellow, but we can also do all sorts of other colours if you need something specific
-
Application Temperature : The thing is, our thermoplastic markings work just as well in cold as they do in warm conditions. If it's really chilly you might need to give the surface a bit of heat with a gas torch to get it to stick, but that's about it but be sure to avoid extreme cold temperatures
-
How Long They Last : Now, how long our thermoplastic road markings last really depends on how they get treated. On a good day some of them will last for more than five years without breaking down

Thermoplastic materials are relatively rare beasts when it comes to chemicals and solvents - they're solvent free, low in VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and as such pretty non-toxic and easy on the environment.
Who It’s For

-
Industrial Facilities - If you work in a big warehouse or factory - our demarcations for footpaths, warehouse zones and forklift lanes are pretty great
-
Small Contractors - We reckon our thermoplastic line marking material is perfect for the small guy who doesn't need loads of specialist kit to get the job done
Our lines can put up with pretty much anything - heavy traffic, chemicals, you name it.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Is it Easy to Apply? Yes it's simple - just whip out a standard propane torch and you're good to go. No fancy equipment required. Just heat, get the thermoplastic in the right spot and you've got your self a solid bond to asphalt or concrete.
How Long Will the Thermoplastic Markings Last? Now when it comes to the longevity of these thermoplastic markings - they're pretty tough. The actual lifespan will depend on things like how much traffic is flying by, the state of the road and how much the elements are beating on them. But in a normal situation, you can expect 3 to 5+ years without any issues.
What Surfaces are OK to Use Them On? You can lay these thermoplastic markings straight onto asphalt, tarmac or concrete. But if you're dealing with a worn out surface or an old line, it's a good idea to give it a primer tack coat to make sure the adhesion is solid.
Can I Apply in the Cold? Thermoplastic markings are good to go all year round. Just keep in mind that if the temperature drops below 10°C, you'll need to give the surface a bit of a heat treatment with your gas torch. However avoid snowy icy conditions.
